30V 60A Surge Protector
This unit was designed to protect delicate electronic equipment connected to a generator / battery system from voltage spikes. The unit is fitted between the generator and the battery.
In normal use the unit acts like a very low value resistor with a typical voltage drop of 0.21V at 60A and will not affect the charging of the battery.
If there is a fault in the generator and the generator’s output voltage rises above 30V the unit will limit the output voltage to 30V.
Note:
Keep battery positive connection as short as possible
Connect the battery negative cable to the battery terminal.
