1989 - Inception: A Vision Comes to Life

In the summer of 1989, Mike and Jane Roberts' entrepreneurial spirit led them to establish Dun-Bri Services from their home in Hertfordshire. With a clear vision to serve the automotive industry's lighting needs, they laid the foundation for what would become a renowned name in the field.

1994 - Building the Team: Our First Employee

By 1994, Dun-Bri Services had solidified its position as a specialist commercial vehicle lighting supplier. This pivotal year marked the beginning of a thriving partnership, as the company welcomed its first employee. This dedicated team member remains an integral part of the Dun-Bri family, contributing to our continued success.

2000 - A New Home: The Watermill Industrial Estate

In the new millennium, our growth demanded a larger space to accommodate our expanding inventory and meet the rising demands of our customers. In July 2000, Dun-Bri Services moved to the Watermill Industrial Estate in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, providing us with the facilities needed to serve our clients more efficiently.

2003 - Becoming Dun-Bri Group: A Transformative Shift

In July 2003, Dun-Bri Services evolved into the Dun-Bri Group, transitioning into a privately-owned limited company. This shift marked a significant milestone in our history, setting the stage for further expansion and enhanced services.

2005 - Expanding Horizons: Facility Upgrades

In July 2005, Dun-Bri Group took a major step forward by redeveloping its head office in Buntingford. The expansion provided us with a 13,000 square-foot warehouse, enabling us to offer a diverse range of products while ensuring prompt deliveries to our valued customers.

2011 - Branching Out: Dun-Bri Lancashire

Expanding our presence across the UK, in July 2011, we established Dun-Bri Lancashire in Preston. This strategic move allowed us to provide localized support and services to customers in the region, further strengthening our national footprint.

In 2013, we introduced Lite-wire, a revolutionary digital wiring system for commercial vehicles. Lite-wire represented our commitment to innovation, providing cutting-edge solutions to enhance vehicle lighting systems' efficiency and reliability.

The same year saw Andrew Strath, a former Sales Representative, take on the role of Group Managing Director. His visionary leadership has been instrumental in driving Dun-Bri Group's growth and success.

2014 - Delivering Value: The 'Valueline' Product Range

To better cater to diverse customer needs, we launched 'Valueline,' our own-brand, value-focused range of vehicle warning and commercial vehicle lighting solutions. Valueline reaffirmed our dedication to providing quality products with exceptional value.
