Through the ‘Raising the bar’ initiative, Highways England working in collaboration with its supply chain aim to identify current health and safety best practice and then define that as the minimum requirement to be implemented on all major projects. ‘Raising the bar’ provides guidance on the current best practice and minimum requirements for health and safety on major projects within Highways England.
